Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EICA Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the engineering design process and contribute to the success of our water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior quality engineering design services, ensuring that all designs meet health and safety requirements, specifications, and standards.
  • Coordinate the design process, producing design documents and drawings, and collaborating with internal and external teams.
  • Assist in developing procedures and processes to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Maintain files and records throughout contract duration, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, working within a culture that prioritizes customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain a personal development plan, enhancing skills and expertise.
  • Supervise and develop staff, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address environmental and health and safety concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered or near-charted membership of a professional institution.
  • Proven experience in managing staff, mentoring, and designing water treatment plants.
  • Ability to rationalize designs, produce economic plant layouts, and present technical proposals effectively.
  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in relevant software tools.
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, process engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • A driving license is also required.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
