Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator Expert to join our team in the Cambridge/East Anglia area. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our work across a wide range of sites Nationally.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in waterways or construction, with extensive experience in operating plant and equipment. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation, including Health and Safety at Work LOLER COSHH, and will operate plant or equipment as trained and competent to use.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, including Health and Safety at Work LOLER COSHH
  • Operate plant or equipment as trained and competent to use, including specialized attachments
  • Complete routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment
  • Report damage to equipment and maintain clean and tidy working environment
  • Assist in the scoping of works and preparation of method statements and risk assessments
  • Hold relevant qualifications, such as CPCS Cardholder and 360 Excavator certification, and have at least 5 years of experience in the role
