The Role

You will be responsible for developing business growth, enhancing relationships with local clients, and delivering exceptional project results as part of our Buildings team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable engineering consultancy with a strong presence in the Cambridge area.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery: Ensure project requirements are met, adhering to client specifications and relevant standards.">
  • Performance Development Reviews: Conduct PDRs for reporting staff, driving learning and development opportunities.">
  • Client Liaison: Foster strong relationships with clients and third parties, delivering exceptional customer service.">
  • Quality Control: Approve own discipline work, including third-party design proposals, ensuring quality and adherence to industry standards.">
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to team members, staying up-to-date on relevant Standards, Codes of Practice, Health & Safety legislation, and current design methods.">
  • Quality System: Comply with PF quality system procedures within your team, driving quality excellence.">
  • Bid Submissions: Prepare and check bid submissions for quality and accuracy.">
  • Business Development: Promote company capabilities, securing future engineering work.">

  • Essential: Relevant degree, professionally qualified, and member of an appropriate professional body.">
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in a similar field.">
  • Preferred: Previous experience in an engineering organisation.">

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
