Biomedical Equipment Specialist

As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist at Ergea UK and Ireland Ltd, you will be responsible for providing daily on-site medical devices repairs, preventative maintenance, and asset management to contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within specified hospital locations. Your primary goal will be to build long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors, and staff to ensure responsiveness and superior customer service.

The ideal candidate will have an HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent, as well as a qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering. Additionally, you should have a good working knowledge of MS Office suite and Excel, with 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment and familiarity with a broad range of medical devices.

You will be required to perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines, complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines, and travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.
