Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week, covering both days and nights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient-centered care to our patients, working closely with consultants, staff grade doctors, junior doctors, emergency nurse practitioners, nurses, healthcare assistants, reception/secretarial staff, and housekeepers.
Main Duties- Provide emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, including minor injuries and illnesses.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
