About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team at The Entertainer. As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement and sales through timely, personalized, and relevant communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an email schedule to achieve business goals related to online sales, customer engagement, and overall growth.
  • Create compelling email content for various audiences, including customers and subscribers.
  • Analyze performance and report on success and learnings to the wider online community during trading sessions.
  • Ensure accuracy and relevancy of communications and maintain the health of our current CRM/platform, Emarsys.
  • Identify areas of improvement related to content, ways of working, data, or technical development.
  • Design and manage triggered email programs.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies to drive performance and continuously improve the channels.
  • Align with internal stakeholders across the business, build working relationships.
  • Ensure our CRM fully supports brand and commercial initiatives.
  • Ensure we are legally compliant through GDPR.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and opportunities, utilizing and building on them to drive future campaigns.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure success of email as a channel for The Entertainer and Early Learning Centre.
Requirements
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Potential to manage, lead, develop, and coach a junior team member.
  • Full UK, valid driver's license.
  • Good knowledge of CRM/email marketing tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of analytics packages (Google/Adobe).
  • Previous user of graphic design software (Illustrator/Photoshop).
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, priority planning.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a retail business.
  • Highly organized and able to use spreadsheets to manage calendars and report on performance.
  • Experience working with agencies and solutions providers.
  • Experience of working alongside affiliate marketing and paid search managers.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
