We are seeking a skilled Placement Liaison Specialist to join our team at Educators Wales. This role is responsible for finding and placing students with suitable work placements for their courses, providing support throughout the process.

About the Role

This Placement Liaison Specialist position requires a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care/Childcare, as well as 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide one to one student support and skills assessment at placements and settings through pre-arranged visits.
  • To continually review and update procedure and systems for placement tracking and monitoring.
  • To undertake monitoring, vetting and risk assessments as required.
  • Keeping abreast of and contributing to curriculum development and innovations affecting work placement and skills development.
About You
  • Ability to work well under own initiative, working confidently with the team and independently.
  • Knowledge of work placement monitoring and vetting or prepared to undertake training in this area.
