Job Summary:

Lorien is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Programme Manager to join their Business Intelligence, Publishing and Events group. This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of a multi-year transformation programme, driving change and adoption across the organisation.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of the assisted sales journeys for all products and personas, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, manage and track the programme. This role reports into the Commercial Portfolio Director and requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and change management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Management: Lead the delivery of the transformation programme, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including commercial directors and programme sponsors.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Governance, Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure effective governance, team leadership and collaboration across multiple functions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure programme delivery within the risk threshold.
  • Plan, Delivery & MI Reporting: Develop and implement plans, deliverables and MI reporting to ensure programme success.

Requirements:

  • Strong Agile setup and management experience: Essential for this role.
  • Previous experience as a Technical Delivery Manager: Ideal, but not essential.
  • Strong leadership, senior stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills: Necessary for success in this role.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills: Ability to lead, motivate and inspire programme teams to achieve objectives.
  • Good understanding of change, project and programme management methodologies: Essential for this role.
  • Effective problem-solving skills: Ability to address issues and obstacles that may arise throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Ability to optimise risk: Stay within the risk threshold to deliver expected benefits.
  • Proficiency in PPM software and tools: Essential for programme management.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experienced in Programme Manager roles: Especially in corporate or retail environments.
  • Experience in managing large-scale or multi-year transformation programmes: Ideal for this role.
  • Experience managing programmes with international or cross-cultural environments: Beneficial.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Strategic Project Management, Engineering or IT: Preferable.
  • Professional qualifications such as Programme Management Professional (PgMP) certificate or MSPProfessional: Advantageous.
