Learning Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Worker to join our team and support a Year 1 pupil with non-verbal Autism.

About the Role:
  • Provide 1:1 support to the pupil, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs and promote their engagement with the curriculum.
  • Help the pupil develop coping strategies and self-regulation techniques to manage dysregulation and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure consistent support and promote the pupil's academic and personal growth.
About You:
  • We are looking for an individual with prior experience working with non-verbal children and a strong understanding of Autism.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly patient and empathetic, and have a calm and composed demeanor.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality support are essential qualities for this role.
