About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Safran Nacelles. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for defining complex assembly manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with product design specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement manufacturing processes that meet/exceed customer demand, ensuring capacity and capability performance.
  2. Create and validate standard operating procedures, work instruction sheets, quality control points, and methods of inspection.
  3. Develop effective plant, equipment, and tooling strategies to support manufacturing operations.
  4. Plan, drive, and coordinate activities contributing to industrial product validation, including purchasing, engineering, and methods.
  5. Evaluate risks of change and identify risk reduction actions using PFMEA.
Requirements
  1. Experience in complex assembly manufacturing processes, particularly in an aerospace context.
  2. Thorough understanding of bonding, shimming, mechanical fasteners, and multi-level assembly.
  3. Engineering degree (with elements of mechanical, manufacturing, and materials) or equivalent experience.
