The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for defining complex assembly manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with product design specifications. This role will involve designing manufacturing processes that meet or exceed customer demand, creating and validating standard operating procedures, and ensuring effective plant, equipment, and tooling strategies are in place.
Key Responsibilities- Define complex assembly manufacturing processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with product design specifications.
- Design manufacturing processes that meet or exceed customer demand.
- Create and validate standard operating procedures, work instruction sheets, quality control points, and methods of inspection.
- Ensure effective plant, equipment, and tooling strategies are in place.
- Create routes, BOMs, master layouts, tooling requests, data sheets, CM's, and associated drawings.
- Plan, drive, and coordinate activities contributing to industrial product validation.
- Evaluate risks of change and identify risk reduction actions via PFMEA.
- Competitive salary
- 37 hour working week over 4.5 days with a 1pm finish on Friday

- A thorough understanding of bonding, shimming, mechanical fasteners, and multi-level assembly.
- Engineering Degree (with elements of mechanical, manufacturing, and materials), HND or equivalent experience.
