Role of Manufacturing EngineerThe Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
- Defining complex assembly manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and compliance with product design specifications.
- Designing manufacturing processes that meet or exceed customer demand, with a focus on capacity and capability performance.
- Creating and validating standard operating procedures, work instruction sheets, quality control points, and methods of inspection.
- Ensuring effective plant, equipment, and tooling strategies are in place.
- Developing routes, BOMs, master layouts, tooling requests, data sheets, CMs, and associated drawings.
- Planning, driving, and coordinating activities contributing to industrial product validation (methods, purchasing, engineering, etc.).
- Evaluating risks of change and identifying risk reduction actions via the use of a PFMEA.
- Competitive salary
- 37-hour working week over 4.5 days with a 1pm finish on Friday

- Experience of complex assembly manufacturing processes, particularly within an aerospace context.
- A thorough understanding of bonding, shimming, mechanical fasteners, and multi-level assembly.
- Engineering Degree (with elements of mechanical, manufacturing, and materials), - HND or equivalent experience.
