About the Opportunity

Fortress Safety is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Wolverhampton.

This role involves supporting the smooth operation of our global HR function, working collaboratively with the existing team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR services.

The successful candidate will have experience operating in a fast-paced business environment, excellent communication skills, and a basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate recruitment activities, including job specification creation, interview scheduling, and new hire onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on low-level employee relations cases, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • HR Administration & Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, ensure training compliance, and support the HR team with HR metrics and insights.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating in a HR coordinator capacity in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

What We Offer:

  • A base salary of £30,000 per annum.
  • Flexible working arrangements, focusing on outputs rather than rigid office hours.
