We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at McBride. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting our business leaders and employees to achieve our goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering
- Provide strategic HR guidance and support to our business leaders to drive business success.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and development.
Learning, Development, Resourcing and Talent Management
- Identify training needs of our business leaders and develop training programs to enhance their HR skills.
- Recruit and appoint top talent using fair and systematic processes.
- Ensure our business leaders are competent to conduct interviews and investigations.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to identify and develop future leaders.
Organisation Development and Design
- Work with our business leaders to design and implement organizational changes to drive business success.
- Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies to inform and engage employees.
- Provide guidance on change management and organizational design.
Employee and Industrial Relations
- Manage day-to-day union activities and provide guidance to our business leaders on employment relations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
- Provide guidance on employment law and regulations.
Payroll
- Process payroll changes accurately and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Implementing Strategy
- Work with our business leaders to develop and implement business and people plans.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business success and improve employee engagement.
Colleague Engagement and General HR Activities
- Lead the site engagement team and develop strategies to improve employee engagement.
- Complete regular reporting activities to inform business leaders and HR stakeholders.

- Strong communication and coaching skills.
- Resilient and able to prioritize and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Highly energized, influential, flexible, and motivated with a high level of commitment.
Technical Competencies and Qualifications
- Experienced HR Advisor/Officer within a fast-paced business.
- Ideal CIPD qualification or working towards.
- Well-developed self-management skills and ability to work independently.
- Confident in the use of digital HR systems and Microsoft Office.
