Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accounts Receivable Manager to lead a large team covering sales ledger and credit control at a leading business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales ledger and credit control function to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Work with the Financial Controller to introduce processes to streamline the production of invoices and collection of debt.
  • Implement strategies to reduce historical debts and improve cash flow.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve queries and ensure timely resolution of disputes.
  • Ensure accurate recording of received amounts in the company's accounting records.
  • Work with IT to improve AR reporting and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Responsibility for accurate cash forecasting and producing variance analysis.
  • Responsibility for the data held on the sales ledgers and its integrity.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a large team in a transactional finance environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex queries.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and streamlining operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
