Key Duties:
Recruitment:
- The HR Specialist will oversee the complete recruitment cycle for specialized positions.
- Collaborating with hiring managers, the HR Specialist will assess staffing requirements and devise effective recruitment plans.
- Maintain a current candidate pipeline and cultivate a network of potential hires.
- As our new HR Specialist, you will establish strong partnerships with the Recruitment Administration Team to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback, adhering to established procedures.
- Assist in interviews for senior management positions.
- Build relationships with clients, branch management, and key stakeholders.
- Manage a redeployment list to retain employees during TUPE and organizational changes.
- Lead recruitment initiatives and draft job advertisements as necessary.
- Address recruitment challenges with recruitment management as needed.
TUPE Transitions:
- Lead and manage the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) processes, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Conduct due diligence, consultations, and communications with affected employees.
- Work alongside management and legal advisors to ensure smooth transitions.
- Provide support and guidance to both incoming and outgoing employees during the transition process.
Employee Relations:
- Address concerns and complaints raised through the company whistleblowing platform by conducting thorough investigations and cultural assessments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Support the management of long-term sickness and flexible working arrangements.
- Facilitate Supporting Abilities Passports with employees and managers.
- Manage organizational change processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate understanding and engagement with Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
- Recognize risks within the workplace and prioritize safety, complying with relevant policies, procedures, and training.
Required:
- Proven experience in recruitment (preferably internal/volume).
- Demonstrated experience in an HR Generalist role, with strong expertise in TUPE and employee relations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Preferred:
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
