**The Person**
- Experience of working in a multi-site leased & tenanted environment and ideally in a leadership role.
- A confident and enthusiastic leader who knows how to get the best out of people.
- A brilliant self-starter.
- Highly numerate and able to analyse and interpret financial data accurately.
- An unerring passion to help our Pub Partners succeed in business - this will require real empathy, as well as exceptional listening and influencing skills.
- Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, delegate and manage your own workload whilst also managing a team of two Business Development Managers.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
- Strong commercial acumen, capable of understanding pricing offers, setting rents, and making complex investment proposals backed up by sound commercial thinking.
- Positive and upbeat with a “can do attitude” and strong work ethic.
- Hardworking and self-motivated, capable of working autonomously when required but also as part of a strong team to deliver Company and Divisional goals.
- Responsible, conscientious and a team player.

**The Role & Responsibilities**
- Lead, coach and develop a team of two Business Development Managers to deliver best performance across an estate of 87 sites.
- Work with the Pubs Operations Director to ensure that the Pub Partner division is aligned with the overall business strategy and continues to exceed KPI’s.
- Lead the Pub Partner Division on a day-to-day basis engaging the wider support teams to deliver best in class service and outstanding results.
- Run your own area of c.20 Pub Partner sites whilst also delivering your wider remit in leading the Division to success.
- Maintain and implement processes and procedures that enable the efficient operation of the Pub Partner business within JW Lees.
- Review and sign off rent proposals, carry out recruitment interviews and ensure agreement renewals are delivered in a timely manner in line with legislation.
- Lead team meetings and implement new initiatives as appropriate.
- Carry out performance reviews with your direct reports.
- Build effective and positive relationships with key stakeholders within JW Lees.
- Work alongside our Pub Partners to ensure that sales and profit opportunities are maximised for all parties. Identify opportunities for beer volume growth and implement initiatives to realise this growth throughout your estate.
- Complete an estate plan in order to identify opportunities and threats to your businesses as appropriate.
- To identify and deliver outstanding capital investment schemes, delivering profitable growth for both our Pub Partners and JW Lees.
- Identify and support acquisition opportunities as appropriate.
- Ensure your team are delivering business reviews, site audits, KPI’s and compliance, etc as required by the business.
- Work alongside the property team to ensure the maintenance of each site and propose and oversee the refurbishments of our Pub Partnership estate.
- Identify key trends/markets to maximise business opportunities.
