**People Advisor Vacancy - Greater Manchester - Up to £35,000 plus benefits**

We are excited to be recruiting for a People Advisor to join the People Team at JW Lees Brewery. This role will work closely with key stakeholders in our estate of managed pubs, inns & hotels as well as at the Brewery in Middleton. As a true Generalist, you will support on all things people, ER, reward & benefits and recruitment.

This role will be based at the Greengate Brewery in Middleton, Greater Manchester, with regular travel across the North West. A driving licence and car are required. Experience within the leisure, retail or hospitality is desirable.

**People Advisor Key Responsibilities**:

- **Employee Relations** - Supporting on all team member issues including grievance, disciplinary, capability and absence management.
- **HR Analytics **- Maintain & analyse key HR data metrics, identifying key areas for improvement. Superuser of HRIS - Access.
- **Policies and procedures **-Maintain HR policies, procedures and templates ensuring they are legally compliant.
- **Employee Engagement **- Support the administration and co-ordination of the Team Member Engagement Survey and constantly look at ways of improving engagement.
- **Reward and Recognition** - Support the implementation of opportunities to improve the company’s reward package and recognition schemes.
- **Fun** - working a part of the wider people team to develop and champion exciting initiatives across the business to drive overall engagement and enjoyment.
- **Succession Planning** -support the maintenance of a succession plan matrix.
- **Recruitment** - Support recruitment activity including advertising new roles, issuing new starter paperwork & and coordinating inductions.
- **Project work** - Delivery of projects to support business growth, performance and efficiency.
- **Charity **- Ownership of the elected charity partnership and associated fund raising activities.

**People Advisor Person Specification**:

- At least 3 years’ experience within a hospitality or retail environment in the People Function.
- Minimum CIPD Level 3.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Positive, enthusiastic & lively.
- Process driven with a strong attention to detail.
- Creative with the ability to continually improve with new ways of thinking and working.
- Customer focused and good awareness of team members and commercial business needs.
- Curious, questioning attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Skilled influencer.
- Courage to constructively challenge.
- Ability to travel regionally is required, mobility is an essential requirement within the Northwest and North Wales.
