About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Solutions team as a Triage Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing housing solutions to individuals at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to a wide range of queries from clients, providing advice and support to help them access housing solutions.
  • Work closely with private landlords, negotiating evictions and ensuring that clients receive scheduled appointments with case officers.
  • Provide a friendly and customer-focused service, responding rapidly to queries and solving problems at the first point of contact.
  • Take a highly organized approach, providing advice, drafting decision letters, and inputting customer data.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of relevant Lettings, Homelessness, and Housing Act legislation, including security of tenure and private tenants' rights. Experience of providing an advice service to the public would be an advantage.
