About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Solutions team as a Triage Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing housing solutions to individuals at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to a wide range of queries from clients, providing advice and support to help them access housing solutions.
  • Work with clients to identify their housing needs and develop personalized plans to address their challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including case officers and landlords, to ensure timely and effective resolution of housing issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housing solutions, working closely with the team to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Lettings, Homelessness, and Housing Act.
  • Experience of providing advice and support to individuals at risk of homelessness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
  • A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
