About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our Housing Solutions team as a Triage Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing housing solutions to individuals at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to queries from clients and stakeholders, providing advice and support on housing-related issues.
  • Negotiate with private landlords to resolve eviction issues and provide housing solutions.
  • Manage repeat queries and ensure timely responses to customers.
  • Input customer data and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide a friendly and customer-focused service, responding rapidly to queries and solving problems at the first point of contact.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Lettings, Homelessness, and Housing Act. You will also need to have an understanding of the services, benefits, and support available to individuals experiencing housing problems. Experience in providing an advice service to the public is desirable.
