Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As an Administrative Officer, you will provide administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clinical teams, including preparing reports, letters, and other documents.
  • Manage email and incoming queries, ensuring timely responses and follow-up actions.
  • Use Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to support administrative tasks.
  • Work closely with the Team Manager to implement and improve administration processes.
  • Provide a high level of customer service, responding to queries and requests from staff, patients, and visitors.

Requirements
  • Recent secretarial/administrative experience, including copy/audio typing and note/minute taking.
  • Experience in using Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Understanding of the need to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to use initiative and organize own tasks to meet deadlines.
