Accounting Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and submitting accounts and tax returns for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will also communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person, chasing records as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Client Onboarding: Onboard new clients, integrate them into your portfolio, and perform bookkeeping, compliance tasks as required.
- Tax Advisory: Assess and advise clients on their tax position, optimizing their tax efficiency.
- Bookkeeping and VAT Returns: Complete, review, and prepare bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS statements.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working in accounting practice within the last 2 years, with a minimum of 3 years overall experience. A good standard of verbal and written English is essential, along with proficient IT skills (Excel and Word) and a sound working knowledge of QuickBooks and Xero.
