We support 65 member organisations across Northern Ireland in delivering high-quality advice services. We work with these organisations to enhance their standards and service delivery.

We act as a voice for the independent advice sector and offer award-winning training schemes. Our goal is to improve the lives of people in Northern Ireland.

We are currently seeking an Education and Training Development Lead to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As the Education and Training Development Lead, you will oversee our training function, ensuring we deliver exceptional face-to-face and online learning for accredited and non-accredited training programmes.

Your responsibilities will include managing the operational and technical aspects of our training, staff management, and providing high-level expertise to develop strategic plans and initiatives.

You will also represent Advice NI at external forums, building valuable networks and showcasing our training offerings.

Specifically, your duties will include:

  • Promoting our training programs, including developing and managing the training calendar and brochure
  • Monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and managing health and safety requirements

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least one year's experience in operational, project, and staff management, as well as experience in education, training, or organisational development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and outstanding planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage a varied workload, adapt to change, and use your initiative
  • The ability to build strong relationships with a range of people
  • A solid educational background
  • An accredited training or management qualification
