About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Arqiva. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of large customer contracts, focusing on optimizing performance, handling disputes, and driving revenue and margin improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of large customer contracts, including optimizing performance, handling disputes, and driving revenue and margin improvements.
  • Collaborate with various business areas, including Delivery, Product, Legal, Finance, and Technology, to provide commercial thought leadership and decision-making.
  • Work directly with customers and supplier management teams to negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
  • Manage and resolve commercial disputes to mutually satisfactory outcomes for Arqiva and our customers.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial terms and conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial and contract management.
  • Proven leadership skills working with customers, internally and externally, and a strong appreciation of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Consistent delivery of exceptional results through matrix team structures.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting priorities.
  • Proven complex negotiation skills with internal and external customers, including dispute management.
  • Strong risk management skills, able to identify and mitigate exposure.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to simplify complexity.
