Job Description

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our team in delivering high-profile residential projects in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the management and performance of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost control.
  • Programme Management: Create, review, and manage overall construction programmes, setting and meeting critical milestones.
  • Resource Allocation: Delegate site management weekly deliverables, ensuring efficient allocation of labour to complete contract and variation works.
  • Client and Consultant Relations: Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Quality and Safety: Manage quality assurance processes, ensuring specification is met, and site management is recording defects and issuing rectification notices to subcontractors and trades.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that Health and Safety policies, procedures, and processes are implemented and compliant, monitoring health and safety performance and engaging with the Health and Safety Manager as required.
  • Commercial Management: Oversee and review variation accounts with project QS, complete understanding of the Contract Pricing Document scope of company and supply chain works, and implement value engineering across projects.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 6 in Construction or Management or equivalent, Site Managers Safety Training Scheme course, First Aid at Work Level 3, and competency in use of all Procore Site management tools.
  • Experience: Proven track record of delivering high-profile residential projects in London, with excellent leadership and management skills, and a strong understanding of construction management principles.
