Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Repairs & Servicing Coordinator to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating repairs and maintenance within the housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calls on system and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate and manage operative diaries to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform general administration tasks to support the team.
  • Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative.
  • Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively to optimize resource allocation.
  • Liaise with operatives, tenants, and clients to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.
  • Document control: receive and check worksheets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Work towards individual and client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance and improvement.
  • Coordinate and manage council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential, and emergency property maintenance works.
  • Track and monitor progress to completion, ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Liaise with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen to plan appointments, materials, and logistics, and reorganize schedules as needed.
  • Organize external supply companies to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure all trades are ready and present on-site, and works are completed in-line with committed client completion dates.
  • Work in a fast-paced demanding role, collaborating with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades to deliver high-quality services.
