About the Role

Caprice Holdings Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our venues in Central London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of equipment and systems. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Coordination and Supervision: Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks. Supervise and guide on-site maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building infrastructure.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general maintenance are an asset.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
