Job Summary:

Caprice Holdings Ltd. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities across Central London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our properties are safe, well-maintained, and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs:
    • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repairs.
    • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
  • Preventative Maintenance:
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of equipment and systems.
    • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Coordination and Supervision:
    • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
    • Supervise and guide on-site maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Budget Management:
    • Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented without compromising quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building infrastructure.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general maintenance are an asset.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
