Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Surveyor to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a Maintenance Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of properties to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee contractors carrying out repairs and minor improvement works, taking ownership and ensuring effective liaison to deliver a high-quality service at the best possible cost.
- Undertake technical and inspection duties related to repairs and minor improvements to occupied and void homes, external and communal areas, and playgrounds.
- Assess properties for hazards such as damp, mould, excess cold, sanitation, and drainage issues.
- Raise works orders and variation orders, obtain and challenge costs, and approve quotations for specialized/non-standard works.
- Work supervision, contractor liaison, and progress monitoring to ensure target dates are achieved and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a Repairs and Maintenance environment.
- Experience providing technical support and advice to various stakeholders.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to produce technical reports.
Important Notes:
- Availability to work immediately or at short notice is essential.
- Right to work in the UK is required.
