Job Title: Business Development Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Home Instead. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the local community to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and community groups to increase awareness of Home Instead's services and employment opportunities.
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve enquiry generation objectives and increase market share.
- Develop and deliver innovative approaches to increase awareness of Home Instead's services and employment opportunities in the local community.
- Research and plan regular community marketing events to promote Home Instead's services and employment opportunities.
- Define marketing plans and digital media strategies that adhere to brand guidelines and focus on meeting or exceeding established goals.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the Home Instead brand and raise awareness of Home Instead National Office marketing campaigns and recruitment initiatives across the network of relationships built in the local community.
- Accurately track and record enquiries and use the information to manage and adjust strategy to optimise messaging and education in the community.
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the Company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Manage own time effectively, prioritising critical tasks and adapting to the changing needs of the business.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in successfully developing, maintaining and leveraging strong relationships within a local community to achieve business objectives.
- Good understanding of marketing principles with experience of using a range of marketing and communication approaches.
- Experience of building relationships both face to face and virtually.
- Experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve targets.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and virtual communication platforms.
- Experience of using data and analytics to make informed business choices.
- Effective interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, use initiative and be resilient.
