Role Description: Early Years Childcare Level 3 Apprentice

The successful candidate will work within our pre-school setting, supporting the daily activities and routines of a small group of children. This role provides a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in early years education while working towards a nationally recognized qualification.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Activity Planning: Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of the children in your care.
  • Parental Communication: Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates on children's progress.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the well-being and safety of the children by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene during mealtimes, nappy changing, and toileting.
Essential Requirements:
  • A valid L2 childcare qualification is essential for this role.
  • You must undergo a DBS check and have a clear understanding of safeguarding principles.
  • Gcse A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths or equivalent qualifications are required.
Working Terms:
  • This position involves working 30 hours per week, between 08:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday.
