Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to work with primary and special educational needs (SEN) schools in the Grimsby area. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom, gaining valuable experience and enhancing your career prospects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children. You will be responsible for providing one-on-one and small group support, assisting with lesson planning, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Understanding of SEN and desire to work with primary school-aged pupils
- Experience of Autism, Complex Needs, or Medical Needs with children or young adults
- Manual Handling, Team Teach Training, or Personal Care Training is desirable
- Experience of working in a care or education environment
- Initiative and willingness to get involved as part of a team
- Flexibility and willingness to challenge oneself in various educational settings
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last all years of employment history
- Legal right to work in the UK
