Job Summary:

Jago Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and developing our diverse IT systems from user support through to system infrastructure and cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure computer systems and hardware to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Provide ongoing support across the business infrastructure, including servers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure system uptime and optimal performance.
  • Work with our IT lead to plan and undertake scheduled maintenance and upgrades as required, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Create and manage user accounts across all applications, providing support and assistance for login issues and ensuring secure access to our systems.
  • Maintain and manage software and hardware assets, ensuring compliance with our IT policies and procedures.
  • Undertake technical project work as part of continuous system improvements, collaborating with our IT team to identify and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge across all areas of IT and systems, with a focus on network and systems administration.
  • HNC or degree in an associated IT discipline or equivalent experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality IT support.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy experience is desirable, as is a strong understanding of cyber security best practices.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car, with the ability to work on-call nights and weekends on a three-weekly rotation.
