We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Midwife to join our team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. This exciting opportunity is for an enthusiastic midwife to lead in the development of care and management of women who are at increased risk of preterm birth, working closely with our Lead Consultant and midwife.

The ideal candidate will have post-preceptorship experience in a rotational midwifery position and hold a full driving licence with access to a car. They will be responsible for providing high-quality, safe midwifery care to pregnant women with risk factors for preterm labour and birth, as well as promoting normality in childbirth and ensuring that women and their partners are provided with the necessary information to make informed decisions about their care.

As a key member of our team, you will take responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care according to unit policies and research. You will also provide appropriate counselling and be able to cope with highly distressing or emotional circumstances.

The estimated salary for this position is £38,890 - £44,041 per annum, depending on experience.
