About the Role:

As a Development Midwife, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our preterm clinic. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement new strategies for caring for women at increased risk of preterm birth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our specialist field and advance the role of the midwife in this area.

Key responsibilities include maintaining competence in providing midwifery care, promoting normality in childbirth, and ensuring women and their partners are provided with the information necessary for them to make informed decisions about their care. You will also be expected to develop and implement evidence-based programs of care to meet women's individual needs.

Essential Requirements:
  • Registered Midwife with current UK NMC registration
  • Degree in Midwifery or equivalent degree-level study in a health-related subject
  • Post-preceptorship experience in a rotational midwifery position
  • Full driving licence with access to a car
