The client's transformation journey involves shifting from a tobacco manufacturer to a science and technology-based consumer-facing organization. This transformation creates numerous unique and progressive IT projects catering to various skill levels and ambitions. Position Overview:
IT Capability Development is a key role within the IT Capability Development Team, part of the Office of the Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO). This team provides learning and development offerings to ensure the client's IT workforce is future-ready. It creates and manages IT-specific content for the client's learning platforms, accessible to IT employees and beyond. The team also supports the People & Culture (P&C) team in governing and evolving IT career paths and overall talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that learning activities align with the client's IT strategy.
  2. Align IT capability development with the overall learning strategy.
  3. Analyze learner needs with SMEs to identify gaps in current or future performance and requirements for capabilities.
  4. Manage the design, development, and delivery of a range of integrated learning and development solutions.
  5. Oversee external partner vendors and internal resources to develop appropriate interventions.
  6. Collaborate with SMEs to identify new content for development and manage the production process to ensure content validation and flow.
  7. Design for various digital learning formats and techniques, including videos, e-learning (SCORM, HTML5), infographics, games/simulations, podcasts, virtual classrooms, and gamification.
  8. Create learning experiences that are timely, contextually relevant, engaging, and impactful.
  9. Deliver training to IT employees as part of capability deployment.
  10. Manage adoption and engagement campaigns for launching learning solutions and initiatives.
  11. Coordinate post-learning initiatives to drive learning transfer.
  12. Evaluate capabilities' performance and impact from learner, workplace, and business perspectives.
  13. Cooperate and co-create with the broader PMI organization, supporting related company-wide models and frameworks.
  14. Provide development data-driven insights on learning and development.
  15. Identify new ways to enhance workforce capabilities across the organization, particularly in the digital/technology space.

Technical Competencies:
Learning Design:

  1. Experience designing content across different digital learning formats: videos, eLearning (SCORM), HTML articles, podcasts, infographics, and quick guides.
  2. Proficiency in the 5Di outcome-driven learning design standard model.
  3. Experience in implementing comprehensive evaluation (4 levels) across all programs, initiatives, and content.
  4. Desktop publishing and production skills (Adobe Suite, Canva, Video Editing software).
  5. Experience with digital learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Article/HTML).
  6. Practical understanding of User Experience (UX) theory.
  7. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP).
  8. Knowledge of social media platforms and content engagement techniques.

Learning Delivery:

  1. Extensive experience delivering training across multiple cultures, both virtually and in-person.
  2. Experience in deploying and managing train-the-trainer (T3) models.
