About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Rock Compliance Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development:
    • Develop and implement a personal sales strategy, including target lists and sales targets, to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
    • Identify and secure new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key national clients and stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain industry vertical strategies, positioning Rock Compliance Ltd as a leading provider of compliance solutions.
    • Ownership and development of strategic national frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Prospect for potential new clients, utilizing telesales functions and other sales techniques to drive business growth.
    • Provide quotations to new clients and prospects, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
    • Production of Contract Briefs and mobilisation plans for new contracts, ensuring seamless handover to account management teams.
    • Identification of sales cross-sell and upsell opportunities, working closely with regional sales teams to drive revenue growth.
    • Presentation of new products and services to new framework customers, ensuring effective communication and sales strategies.
    • Training and development of clients and internal teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Produce and maintain client databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Survey sites for quotation purposes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
    • Accurate maintenance and reporting of sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Account / Contract Handover:
    • Mobilise new contracts, working closely with mobilisation managers and account management teams to ensure seamless handover.
    • Production of contract briefs for handover, ensuring effective communication and sales strategies.
    • Assist with the mobilisation of contracts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    • Work with account managers to meet customer needs, ensuring effective communication and sales strategies.
  • Liaison with Clients:
    • Serve as an interface between clients and Rock Compliance Ltd, ensuring effective communication and sales strategies.
    • Attend contract review meetings, supporting account managers and ensuring effective communication and sales strategies.
    • Build effective working relationships with clients, generating additional workloads and driving business growth.
    • Deal with client requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    • Communicate client agendas and requirements to internal teams, ensuring effective communication and sales strategies.
    • Ensure that image and standards are maintained at all times, reflecting positively on Rock Compliance Ltd.
  • Site-based Working:
    • Work away from time to time, as required by the operational needs of the business.
