Targeted Early Help Support Practitioner

Job Summary:
Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work holistically with families, assessing their strengths and needs, and coordinating support for each family member.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support, advice, and information to children, young people, and their families, including the provision of practical assistance.
- Assist social work qualified practitioners in the undertaking of their duties relating to all forms of social care interventions as appropriate.
- Support the promotion of good parenting and provide parents and carers with support and information in relation to parenting and the development of children and young people through group work and one-to-one sessions.
- Lead supervisions and record observations of contact between looked-after children and their families.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce Social Care Pathway (England) or equivalent.
- Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce Social Care Pathway (England) or equivalent.
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week. You will be required to travel across the borough to support families.
