Position Overview

Compass Be is excited to announce the expansion of our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) services. We are seeking a dedicated Junior Supervising Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about implementing evidence-based early interventions for children and adolescents, engaging in both educational environments and community settings.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the services we deliver while advancing your career in mental health support for children, young people, and their families.

About Compass Be

Compass Be serves as Barnsley's MHST and specialized service, providing early interventions focused on mental health and emotional well-being. As an autonomous and accountable practitioner, you will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based interventions, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques both individually and in group settings.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and promoting the Whole School Approach initiative, providing support, consultation, and training to educational staff within schools and colleges.
