Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to become a vital part of our healthcare team, committing to a minimum of 6 sessions weekly.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves managing same-day consultations, alongside some pre-scheduled appointments. Our practice ensures support with an on-call GP and Advanced Nurse Practitioner available daily, as well as a supervising GP for our trainees. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities.
About Our Practice
Our team consists of 4 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, and a comprehensive group of Nursing and Administrative personnel. We pride ourselves on having a robust support network, which includes Clinical Pharmacists, a Health and Wellbeing Coach, and Care Coordinators.
We actively participate in the training of GP Registrars, Foundation Year 2 Doctors, and Medical Students. Our practice maintains strong connections with local community nursing teams, including District Nurses and Community Matrons.
We are affiliated with relevant healthcare federations and organizations.
Practice Details
Our General Medical Services (GMS) practice serves a patient list of approximately 11,500 individuals.
We have received a 'Good' rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
As an established training practice, we consistently achieve high Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) scores.
We utilize the SystmOne Clinical System and have a nurse-led approach to chronic disease management.
Our facility is located on a single site with modern, purpose-built premises and offers free parking for staff and patients.
