Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring high-quality care and services are delivered to service users.
- Develop and implement clinical systems to support and monitor practice and performance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Service Development
- Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to improve care outcomes for service users.
- Work with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
- Staff Development and Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers.

- Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Learning Disability Nursing).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of learning disability nursing and community health care.
- Excellent clinical leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Additional Skills and Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Learning Disability Nursing).
- Experience in clinical research and development.
- Ability to drive and access to a car during working hours.
