We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Support Specialist to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As a Family Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support to families with children aged 0-25 years, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Family Support and Intervention: Engage and support targeted families through targeted outreach, home visiting, and family support interventions as identified through the Early Help Assessment.
- Lead Practitioner: Take the lead in delivering interventions and supporting interventions at Tier 3 and 4 as part of a CIN/CPP plan with relevant professionals.
- Family Support Planning: Support families through planned interventions with clear initial assessments, targets, and objectives, reviewed at regular intervals with the family.
- Qualifications: NVQ 4 or equivalent qualification in a related discipline, with a commitment to achieving a relevant level 5 qualification.
- Experience: Substantial post-qualifying experience of working with children and families in the community within a family support context, with experience of multi-agency working to develop integrated services.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of child and family development, services provided in Barnsley for children and families, the Early Help Assessment, and relevant legislation and initiatives.
