Occupational Therapist Associate Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Associate Practitioner to join our Community Enhancing Recovery Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with longer-term mental health conditions to rehabilitate and reintegrate into their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate care plans developed by the multidisciplinary team, working closely with the Occupational Therapist and Peer Support Worker.
- Deliver evidence-based planned care, ensuring a safe and effective therapeutic environment for service users.
- Provide care within established policies, procedures, and clinical care plans, acting within the required sphere of clinical competences.
- Exercise initiative and judgment in care planning, goal setting, delivery, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Work collaboratively with others to develop knowledge and promote holistic care.
- A-C in Maths/English GCSE or equivalent.
- Level 5 Apprenticeship/Foundation degree in Health & Social Care or equivalent relevant to the post.
- Or, level 3 Apprenticeship/Diploma in Health & Social Care with the ability to demonstrate competencies at level 5 and willingness to work towards achievement of level 5 qualification.
- Care certificate or required to achieve within 12 weeks of commencement (where relevant to the post).
- Experience of the speciality area.
- Group Facilitation skills.
- Willingness to undertake further study/development.
- Responsive attitude and approach.
- Dress appropriately for the environment.
- A Current driving licence and access to a car during the working day is essential (reasonable adjustments will be considered for any applicants who are unable to drive due to a disability).
