About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Gloucestershire, working with children and young people who live with long-term health conditions.
  • The successful candidate will provide high-quality psychological care, consulting/training multi-disciplinary teams, and participating in group program development.
  • As an integrated member of the MDT, you will work closely with doctors, nurses, allied professionals, administrators, and operational managers.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct specialist clinical risk assessments and develop risk management plans as part of routine clinical work.
  • Provide specialist clinical interventions within a paediatric multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer specialist consultation and advice to professionals working within children's services in Gloucestershire as required.
  • Take on clinical leadership and/or project management tasks to contribute to service development and continuous improvement cycles.
  • Utilize highly specialist professional-based clinical reasoning, knowledge, skills, and competencies for CAMHS assessments and therapeutic interventions.

Requirements:

  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsych).
  • Demonstrate current registration with a regulated professional body/organisation: HCPC.

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.

Working Pattern: Part-time
