Role Overview


The GRIP team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist care to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis.


This full-time Band 6 post is available for a registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist who can demonstrate a keen interest in Early Intervention in Psychosis values.


Key Responsibilities



  • Providing specialist assessment and creating collaborative care plans
  • Implementing evidence-based interventions and managing risk in the least restrictive manner
  • Working alongside patients and their families to promote hope for the future
  • Supporting clients to develop a sense of control over their illness and re-engage with their interests
  • Deputising for the manager on occasion and providing support and supervision to junior team members
