Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Multidisciplinary Child and Adult Mental Health Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for children and adults with complex mental health needs.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • To deliver evidence-based therapies and interventions to promote recovery, well-being, and resilience in service users.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, progress, and outcomes, adhering to NHS data protection guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in child and adult mental health services, with a strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering strong relationships and communication with colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills, with the capacity to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds and ages.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures governing mental health practice in the UK.
