Palliative Care Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Palliative Care Assistant. As a member of our team, you will work closely with clients to provide high-quality, personalized care in their own homes.

About the Position:

  1. Delivering palliative care services, including physical, emotional, and social support.
  2. Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  3. Administering medication as per care plans (if qualified).
  4. Building trust and effective communication with clients and their families.
  5. Maintaining accurate records of care provided.

Requirements:

  1. Tamil language proficiency (spoken).
  2. At least 6 months of proven experience in palliative care.
  3. Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  4. Reliable, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
  5. Flexibility to travel locally for home visits.

Salary: £11.44-£12.50 per hour, estimated salary: £45,380 - £50,000 per annum.

Working Hours: Part-time, approximately 30-40 hours per week.
