Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver whole school mental health initiatives alongside young people, school staff, and senior leads.
  • Provide 1:1 brief intervention for mild to moderate mental health problems, developing support plans for children and young people on a regular basis.
  • Discuss in clinical supervision any issues that need low-level intervention, including behavioral activation, CBT-informed worry and anxiety management interventions, graded exposure, sleep and stress management, and behavioral experiments.
