Job Summary

SHI International is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Asset Management Business Development Executive to join our team in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales skills and build relationships with new and existing customers.

As an ITAM Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth for SHI International's ITAM services. You will work closely with our sales teams to provide specialist support on customer projects and develop a deep understanding of our ITAM solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for SHI International's ITAM services.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Work closely with our sales teams to provide specialist support on customer projects and develop a deep understanding of our ITAM solutions.
  4. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to drive business growth.
  5. Collaborate with our services departments to target service opportunities with ITAM/SAM components.
  6. Develop skills to present and demonstrate ITAM Service tools & ISVP Tools to Customers and SHI Sales teams.
Qualifications
  1. University Degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. Commitment, attitude, and sales discipline.
  3. Flair and entrepreneurship to build your own customer base.
  4. Possess a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn about new and emerging technology.

  2. Ability to build rapport with potential customers and utilize your internal resources to help drive new sales opportunities.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proficient mathematical skills with the ability to navigate complex pricing models.
  5. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  6. Excellent phone communication and cold calling skills.
  7. Ability to draft professional and clear email communications.
  8. Ability to pay attention to detail (works with accuracy and thoroughness when completing tasks).
  9. Possess organizational, multitasking skills, and problem-solving skills.
  10. Driven and self-motivated to hit both individual and team targets.
Unique Requirements
  1. Position may require travel for customer meetings and events as required both nationally and internationally.
Additional Information
  1. Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However, due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
